One day gourmet Cooking School
Located adjacent to the Wet Tropics World Heritage area in a spacious modern farm house with views of Queensland’s two highest mountains, Mt Bartle Frere and Mt Bellenden Ker.
Our host’s artisanal knowledge of a fusion cooking style using Australian native fruits with local organic meats, wild caught local seafoods and traditional ingredients. All the recipes showcase beautiful Australian native tropical rainforest fruits with a ‘modern Australian’ interpretation.
The Slow Food Experience begins by awakening your senses with a gentle walk through a luxuriant native fruit orchards and kitchen gardens to harvest seasonal ingredients. The hands-on cooking class that follows culminates in a sumptuous lunch to share the results of our endeavors.
This Food Experience Journey can be complemented with a One way Gondola Cableway Skyrail Experience

Our Meet & Greet service offers a comprehensive and warm welcome to your guests and includes:
- Pre-arranged guest check-in (where available) to enable guests to arrive directly to their rooms rather than having to be individually checked in.
- An overview of their stay and planned activities over the coming days as well as copies of appropriate brochures, maps and suitable recommendations for dining and shopping.
- Instructions regarding pickup times for next day’s activities.
- Assist with transfers of guests and luggage to hotel.
